Writer, president of 'Su Disterru'
Born in Sassari in 1951. Journalist, spokesperson and editor, worked in Bologna, Brussels, Milan, Pavia and Varese, and since 2010 lives between Bologna and Sardinia. His first sassarese novel is Hanno morto a Vinnepaitutti (2006). Then Gli anni sospesi (with Giuseppe Porcu, 2008), the story of a Sardinian prisoner in Dachau; Pierre (2011), memoirs of an peddler of Piazza Tola; Baia delle canne (2014), a short ironic novel on the plundered Sardinian coasts; Nuddadifà (2015), a sassarese thriller; Alexandrina (2016), the journey of two adolescents from Romania to the old town of Sassari. Since 2005 he is president of the association "Su Disterru" which in Asuni is giving life to the MEA - Museum and Documentation Center of Migrant Cultures. In 2005 he created in Asuni terre di confine filmfestival and the international meeting of artists, poets, performers and writers Pensieri e parole intorno al viaggio.
