Yesterday Matteo Incollu, director of short Disco Volante, was interviewed by Anna Cicerchio at terre di confine filmfestival. Matteo tells about his short, featured yesterday Friday 10th March in Solarussa (Oristano) in the section dedicated to Sardinian directors: 'Stories like this one become true when you begin telling them'.
All except correct and biological food, but for a good cause. Matteo unveils some citations from well-known movies, including a boy eating sandwiches taken from a 'B-movie'. Will the stories of the four food truck men become a full-feature film? Mommotty, production company owned by four people in Cagliari, and work in progress for the new movie, 'Malfadàu', the story of a 'Unlucky' Sardinian boy ...
Sardinian director Tomaso Mannoni was interviewed yesterday by Anna Cicerchio in Solarussa (Oristano) at terre di confine filmfestival, after the projection of his short ABOUT NEXT HORIZON - DEL PROSSIMO ORIZZONTE (Italy/2015/14’) in Casa Sanna in the festival session dedicated to Sardinian filmmakers. The projection and following meeting have been attended by a large audience.
On March 9th, 2017 in Oristano, Museo Diocesano Arborense was inaugurated the photo exhibition 'CINEMA!' by Gianfranco Mura. 'Immigrant' photographer, Gianfranco Mura (here below in a photo by Giuseppe Loche) tells us how did he select the thirty b/w shots presented in this special collateral event of terre di confine filmfestival X edizione.
In the clip: Paolo Zucca, artistic director of terre di confine filmfestival, Gianfranco Mura and Maria Nevina Satta, CEO of Fondazione Sardegna Film Commission, briefly descrfibe the exhibition and anticipate some events in the next weeks.
Twelve years ago: Summer 2005. It was hot and some people in Asuni installed a big screen for film projections in the amphitheater. Among participants, Stephan Van den Zegel, a Belgian friend who without much fuss took dozens of photos. And here they are. He sent them a few days ago and it was a strange surprise. I remember everything and I see many faces that will also recall those moments. There are also two Finnish friends. Riccardo Pittau in concert. Oreste. The amphitheater and the projection booth. Lots of people at work. I think it's a nice birthday present for terre di confine filmfestival. A chent'annos (As we say in Sassari: "II hope it can continue for a hundred years").
