Eight guys pretending to be film directors plus a blonde strange guy selling himself as “Elia the painter” travel to Sodankyla with a small van full of wine and food, and all the necessary to build a travelling movie theather, the so-called “CineCirco”.
The organisation of the Midnight Sun Film Festival assigned them the management of the New Italian Cinema Area. They cross Eastern Europe, stopping for screening movies, cooking typical Italian food, interviewing directors of Film Schools, students, ambassadors and consuls, common people and young ladies. Their symbol is a pig. With the participation of: Aki Kaurismaki, Guy Borlée, Nanni Moretti, Peter Von Bagh and GianLuca Farinelli.
